The 2008 Community Handbook and camp forms are now available.

If you are already enrolled, there is no need for you to fill out another 2008 Application

Please note that the 2008 Camp Form Packet contains a checklist of all forms to complete – indicating which are required and optional.

Some important policies in the 2008 Community Handbook that you should be aware of:

    • There will be no food allowed in any bunk that contains peanuts, tree nuts, or their by-products. Our administrative and health care staffs will check boxes and containers for ingredients and content. You can help us by ensuring that the food you send with your child on opening day is completely nut-free. Note that M&Ms of any variety are not peanut-free and will not be allowed in the bunks.
    • Meal offerings will be free of peanut and tree nut content and by-products. Peanut butter will be available to non-allergic campers by our kitchen staff. Preparation of peanut butter sandwiches or snacks during mealtime will take place in a designated kitchen prep area. Serving and consumption of sandwiches will be allowed at risk-free tables, where allergic campers will not be impacted.
    • Camp Bauercrest is working in partnership with CVS/Pharmacy located in Amesbury, MA to implement a mandatory  pre-packaged medication program for families bringing any medications to camp. Camp Bauercrest requires camp families with medications to have all camper medication dispensed, pre-packaged and sent to camp prior to their arrival. More information on this program is available through the CVS forms posted to the Forms Library.

Camp Bauercrest is proud to provide its On-Line Camp Store through IM Incentives. The link to the online store is: http://www.bauercrest.org/cp_gear.html . More information on items and ordering is available in the 2008 Bauercrest Online Store Cover Letter.

To new families, our 2008 New Family Orientation will be taking place Sunday April 13th, 2pm – 5pm at Gann Academy, 333 Forest Street, Waltham, MA. The announcement for this program is also included in the Forms Library.

If you have any questions about the forms, feel free to contact Rob Brockman at 978-443-0582 or at rob@bauercrest.org.
